Restart...
Wow. I didn't think it would take me this long to get back into blogging. So much has happened in the last six and a half months, but I'll have to write about them another time.
The main thing I wanted to note was... I FINALLY bought my wedding dress! Yay! I've been trying to order it (online) this past week, but for whatever reason it wouldn't accept my Visa (I know I haven't maxed it out...at least that's what I think!). And I couldn't use my MasterCard before today, because my payment hadn't been processed yet. Now that I have room, I bought my dress and dresses for the girls for their uncle's wedding in August. I haven't bought their flower girl dresses for our wedding yet because it's still 7 months and I want to make sure I get the right sizes, just in case they grow within the next few months.
Now I can sleep... :)

Happy 65th Birthday, Mom!
Yup, my mom turned 65! We went to Sawmill for brunch, with my brother and uncle (families). It was good to get everyone together for such a momentous occasion. And the food was good too! I had thought about taking my mom to California so that we could see an Ellen DeGeneres show, but unfortunately I didn't have make time to plan for it. Maybe another year.
Maroon 5 & Train
Jason and I went to the Maroon 5 & Train concert. As with most concerts, I enjoyed myself. I think Train 'out-performed' Maroon 5, but I still enjoyed Maroon 5. Train was more interactive with the crowd, where Maroon 5 just played and sang. I didn't enjoy myself as much as I would have liked because I was having dizzy spells earlier that day. [sidenote: I'm convinced that the lady who gave me a massage hit some kind of nerve in my foot, which is what's caused the dizzy spells. I went to the doctor to get checked out, and his tests came back with nothing.]
I wasn't sure if Jason would like the concert, but he actually liked Train. Maroon 5 wasn't his cup of tea, but he thought they were OK.

The first day of school
I know. That was months ago. But I have to purge the information out of my mental hard drive.
As usual, I took the day off. I took Teagan to school, and got her settled into her new classroom. What I'm finding is that the amount of time I stay at the school is diminishing. Which is a good thing, because she's comfortable in her school and with the staff and students. I guess it's starting to hit me that she growing up, and she may not need me depend on me as much.
After that, the rest of my day was spent running errands and going to hair and massage appointments. It was a good day off.

Dinner with Sharon
After a couple months of Sharon quitting, it was time for us to get together. So we met up at Joey's to catch up. We chit-chatted for a couple hours and laughed. I miss her. But at least we still keep in touch.
Teagan is getting more independent
She had a dentist appointment, and normally I go in with her - partly because she sits on my lap, and also because I want to see what they're doing to her. But this time, she told me to stay in the waiting room while she went into the dentist's chair by herself. What?!??! I was somewhat taken aback because I wanted to be in the room with her. *sigh* Well, I guess it's bound to happen sooner or later, but it seems so soon...
